Plastogaz SA was born in as chemistry laboratory of the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), In Switzerland, by a team of scientists whose ambition is to develop technologies to valorize alternative feedstocks such as plastic waste to produce the chemicals we use in our daily lives.
Plastogaz SA was incorporated in Vaud (CH) in May 2020 and its HQ is in the EPFL innovation Park. The Company collaborates with partners from academia and industry for the development of its technologies.
The Founders have committed to develop solutions towards a more sustainable chemical industry and to develop their technologies by collaborating with like-minded organizations.
The founders also strive to make Plastogaz a place for personal growth, education, and inclusivity. Plastogaz commits to keeping strong relationships with academia and with students, and we will do our best to accommodate you within our Team for internships or first jobs.
*Circularity Potential: We define Circularity Potential as the possibility to turn food contact applications plastics back into food contact applications plastics. Conversion of plastics into fuels or lower quality materials is not considered under Circularity Potential according to this definition.
